As part of the 2008 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the National Museum of Australia’s popular annual exhibition Behind the Lines: The Year’s Best Cartoons returns. Celebrating Australian political cartooning at its best, the exhibition takes you on an amusing and thought-provoking journey through the year in Australian politics.

Come and match wits with Australia’s leading cartoonists, then cast a vote for your favourite cartoon and help decide who will win the annual People’s Choice award.
